CELEBRATING THE AESTHETICS OF COMMON, ORDINARY AND MUNDANE OBJECTS

Simple, Colourful, Expressive, Whimsical and sometimes Serious. I've drawn my whole life. Transitioning to a career in painting after a diverse and lengthy experience in the creative industry of landscape design and installation. "Designing gardens is a living form of art and several aspects of this process extended to the art I create now on canvas. When working from life I take suggestions from the beauty of nature and reality but distill them through my own aesthetic lens".

In 2011 deciding to pursue Fine Art, studying drawing and painting with a classical approach based on 19th Century French academic model at S.A.R.A. The Swedish Academy of Realist Art from 2011 to 2015.

My work has been exhibited and sold locally in Sweden as well as internationally in USA and the EU. Practice / Grew up in South Florida USA, moved to Sweden 2010, I now paint at my studio at Vaxholm Kastellet (Castle) near Stockholm, Sweden, most days.
